Sponsored by Kuehne and Nagel, this was a competitive showcase of the top 7 senior teams in Ireland, along with junior and women's exhibition matches. The Valley Vase trophy was lifted by reigning Irish League champions Dublin Riot. Swedish goaltender Kristian Ajnesjo, and Canadian Marty Long won the awards for top goalie and player respectively. Image courtesy of joe fox | | | | AMERICAN FOOTBALL QUARTERBACK CHALLENGE 10th January 2004 - Three Northern Irish based American Football teams, the Craigavon Cowboys, Carrickfergus Knights and Belfast Bulls, took part in this demonstration, in which guests were asked to try out the Quarterback position. The NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers donated football pants to the Carrickfergus Knights (in yellow) on their last visit to Ireland.  | | | :FLYING PIRATES TOUR 1st November - 7th November 2003 Big stick arranged the tour for this Canadian recreational ice hockey team from Vancouver who travel to many parts of the world. Big Stick hosted the team for a series of games in N. Ireland and a series in Scotland. This was their second visit to Northern Ireland. The team have also been to Russia, Australia, US and Costa Rica among others. | | | The Belfast Giants season has begun. Match night entertainment pictures appear below: |
